Lake Forest, IL – The Chicago Bears placed rookie tackle Gabe Carimi on injured reserve Friday.
The move comes exactly one week after Carimi underwent a surgical procedure on his knee. Carimi, a first-round pick in the 2011 draft, had not played since Week 2.
Chicago elevated tackle Levi Horn to the active roster from the practice squad.
