Lake Forest, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Chicago Bears signed quarterback Jimmy Clausen to a one-year extension on Friday, taking him through the 2015 season.

This will be Clausen's second season with the Bears after completing 26-of-48 passing attempts for 223 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in four appearances (one start) for Chicago in 2014.

For his NFL career, Clausen is 183-of-347 passing for 1,781 yards with five touchdowns and 10 interceptions over 17 appearances with 11 starts in Carolina (2010-13) and Chicago (2014).
