The Chicago Bears have agreed to terms on a one-year contract with linebacker Geno Hayes.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Hayes started 42 of the 56 games he played with Tampa Bay over the past four seasons. He has collected 334 tackles, including 231 solo, with seven sacks and four interceptions.

In 2011, Hayes finished third on the Buccaneers with 86 tackles, adding one interception and two forced fumbles.

The Bears also released wide receiver Max Komar, who spent 10 weeks on the team's practice squad and also appeared in two games last season.
