Munich, Germany (SportsNetwork.com) - Bayern Munich winger Xherdan Shaqiri is expected to miss the next two weeks because of a thigh injury.

Shaqiri scored two goals in Saturday's 4-0 win over Freiburg, but had to be substituted on the hour mark after suffering the injury.

According to Bayern's official website, Shaqiri "will definitely miss the first leg of the round of 16 clash with Arsenal on Wednesday, and the Bundesliga away match at Hannover next Sunday."

In addition to the Switzerland international, Bayern will also be without star winger Franck Ribery for Wednesday's match because of injury, although both are expected to be back for the second leg against Arsenal on March 11.
