The Kansas City Chiefs have opened their Hall of Honor in the renovated Arrowhead Stadium, and it's expected to become a favorite destination for fans on game days.

The museum pays homage to the 50-year history of the Chiefs and the legacy of the American Football League, which Lamar Hunt founded in 1959 after the NFL refused to sell him a franchise.

The Hall of Honor was built as part of Arrowhead's $325 million renovation and was opened during a ceremony Wednesday evening.

It occupies a big chunk of the middle of the south concourse at the stadium, and will be open to all fans during every game.
