UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey is already a superstar, but now she wants to be a superhero as well.

Rousey commented earlier this week on her desire to land the lead part in Marvel's big-screen adaptation of "Captain Marvel," which will be the first movie from the comic book giant with a female in the starring role.

Rousey has already taken part in a billion-dollar franchise in "Furious 7," and she will play herself in an upcoming biopic based on her autobiography My Fight/Your Fight.

There doesn't seem to be much Rousey can't do these days, and it didn't take long for a few artists online to imagine what she would look like playing Captain Marvel (a.k.a. Carol Danvers).

Ever since she made mention of the role, Rousey's name has been popping up all over the place in connection with the "Captain Marvel" movie.

And the MMA star posted a couple fan depictions portraying her as the famous Marvel Universe heroine on her Instagram account Saturday.

Whether this actually leads to Rousey having a shot at the role remains to be seen, but there certainly seem to be more than a few people on board with the idea.
