Unpunished violence and sexual assault allegations, conspiracies, cover-ups -- you name it, Baylor University's football program has warranted plenty of criticism this offseason.

No matter where you stand on the important issues burdening the university and the team, right or wrong the fact remains that former head coach Art Briles took the fall for the neglect of the reported social injustices.

On Tuesday afternoon, the media caught up with Briles at a Houston Texans practice and asked him to elaborate on the controversy surrounding his former program. In his response, Briles tried to maintain his clean conscience, saying, "I've never done anything illegal, immoral or unethical."

"If you lose your dog, all of a sudden you're lookin around hollerin' for him, stayin up late. I've lost my dog."

Briles may have lost his job, but he hasn't lost his sense of humor.
