Arizona State point guard Jahii Carson has submitted paperwork for evaluation from NBA officials, but won't make a decision on whether he's going to leave the Sun Devils for a couple of weeks.

A redshirt freshman and one of the biggest in-state recruits in Arizona State history, Carson became one of the nation's best point guards in his first season with the Sun Devils.

The speedy, 5-foot-10 guard, Carson led Arizona State with 18.5 points and 5.1 assists per game on his way to being selected the Pac-12's co-freshman of the year with UCLA's Shabazz Muhammad. Carson also set a freshman record with 34 points in a win over Stanford during the Pac-12 tournament.

Under NCAA rules, Carson has until April 16 to withdraw his draft application.
