The San Francisco 49ers have signed offensive tackle Anthony Davis to a five-year contract extension.

Financial terms of the deal, which will take Davis through the 2019 season, were not disclosed, but NFL.com and Pro Football Talk reported it to be worth $37.2 million with $17 million guaranteed.

"Anthony is a very hard working, dedicated and talented young player who has earned the respect of our entire organization," said 49ers general manager Trent Baalke in a statement Friday. "Having already made significant strides early in his career, Anthony is just beginning to realize his full potential. We look forward to watching him achieve even great results in the years to come."

Davis has started all 48 games for the 49ers since the club selected him with the 11th overall pick of the 2010 draft. The Rutgers product has also started five postseason contests.
