The LA Angels of Anaheim activated pitcher Jerome Williams off the 15-day disabled list on Saturday and optioned pitcher Brad Mills to Triple-A Salt Lake.

Williams was placed on the DL on June 20, retroactively to June 19, due to a breathing problem that was reportedly a combination of asthma and an anxiety attack.

He will start Saturday's game against the Yankees.

Prior to the stint on the DL, Williams was 6-5 with a 4.46 earned run average over 13 games (12 starts) on the season.

Mills made his only start of the season last Sunday and pitched five shutout innings in a win against the Orioles.
