Mike Black scored 15 points and Albany defeated Binghamton 76-37 on Thursday night for the Great Danes' largest margin of victory since moving to the NCAA Division I level in the 1999-2000 season.

Albany (10-12, 3-4 America East Conference) never trailed and led 39-13 at halftime as Tim Ambrose single-handedly outscored the Bearcats with 14 points.

Binghamton (6-13, 3-3), which has lost three games in a row, shot 4 for 30 from the field in the first half (13.3 percent) and finished 12 for 57 (21.1 percent).

Albany led by at least 30 points the final 5:13 to win its second straight game after a four-game skid.

The Great Danes shot 49.1 percent from the floor (27 of 55) and outscored the Bearcats 20-2 in the paint. Albany was 11 of 27 from beyond the arc compared to 1 of 18 for Binghamton.

Mahamoud Jabbi had 14 points and 13 rebounds for the Bearcats.
