Ajaccio, France – Ajaccio has hired former Brest manager Alex Dupont to take the reigns at the club, it was confirmed on Friday.
Dupont was sacked by Brest with five games to play last season, and he takes over for Olivier Pantaloni, who helped Ajaccio finish three points above the relegation zone last term.
The 58-year-old Dupont helped Brest gain promotion to Ligue 1 in 2010.
