Minneapolis, MN (SportsNetwork.com) - Minnesota Timberwolves head coach Rick Adelman will miss Monday's contest against the Houston Rockets for personal reasons.
Terry Porter will once again fill in, as he did during Adelman's 11-game absence in January of 2013, reportedly for spending time with his ailing wife.
The team expects Adelman to return to the bench on Wednesday when the Denver Nuggets come to the Twin Cities.
Minnesota has gone 24-27 this season, ranking fourth in the Northwest Division and 11th in the Western Conference after dropping five of its last six games.
