49ers told WR Edwards won't be suspended for DWI
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Braylon Edwards will not be suspended by the NFL for a 2010 DWI arrest, the team confirmed Tuesday.
While Edwards won't miss any games, he was fined $50,000 by the league for violating its substance abuse policy, according to multiple reports.
Edwards, 28, signed a one-year contract with the 49ers following the lockout.
