Houtson, TX – San Francisco 49ers running back Brandon Jacobs was carried off the field in the first quarter of Saturday's preseason matchup with the Houston Texans.
Jacobs was injured at the end of an eight-yard run when Houston cornerback Kareem Jackson collided with his knee. Jacobs could put no weight on the leg and was assisted to the sideline. The 30-year-old was eventually carted to the locker room.
