The American Dream is a Mall in New Jersey
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Triple Five, the company that operates the Mall of America in Minnesota, has announced plans for a new shopping and entertainment complex near New York City that is set to open in 2013. The facility will be known as American Dream and is expected to host 60 million visitors each year. (Triple Five)
Located near Giants Stadium in the Meadowlands Sports Complex in New Jersey, construction of the facility began in 2004 but its completion had been delayed by several ownership changes before Triple Five took over the project. Although it is already 80 percent complete, the company plans to add a number of unique features, including the nation's largest Ferris Wheel and an aquarium. (Triple Five)
A unique indoor amusement park covered by a group of transparent-domes will include several roller coasters and be just one of the signature attractions at the complex. (Triple Five)
