Minnesota Sen. Al Franken's office says someone possibly shot a pellet through one of his windows at his Minneapolis home.

Franken and his wife were not home at the time the window was penetrated, a Franken spokesman told MyFoxTwinCities. Police are not sure if it was a shot or damaged by a rock.

There was no other damage to the home or other windows. Investigators are unsure of the source of the hole. Minneapolis police are investigating along with U.S. Capitol police.

Minneapolis police says they don't know if the Franken residence was purposely targeted and "don't have much to go on."
