Time for a Check Up: Obama to Gather Cabinet for Six Month Assessment

The President will gather his Cabinet and senior staff this weekend "to assess the first six months of the administration," says White House spokeswoman Katherine Bedingfield. The two day meeting scheduled for Friday and Saturday at Blair House and the White House Conference Center, both across the street from the White House, will give the President and his team the opportunity to "lay out goals and priorities for the coming months," she adds.

"Every Administration since President Eisenhower's has held a similar meeting and the Obama administration will use this weekend's meeting as an opportunity to collaborate to continue to move forward the agenda of building a new foundation for growth and prosperity in this country," notes Bedingfield.

All twenty-two Cabinet members will attend the meetings.
The agenda will include a dinner Friday night and policy presentations on Saturday.
