A source familiar with the current draft circulating around the West Wing tells Fox that President Obama's speech in front of a joint session of Congress on Thursday is in the 35-minute to 40-minute range. Of course final edits and applause could make the speech longer.

No matter the length, the White House has assured everyone it will be done before the NFL kick-off between the Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints, which is scheduled to start about an hour and a half after the start time of the president's speech.

House Speaker John Boehner's office says no individual Republican will respond to Obama's speech Thursday.
