President Obama Tweets (Sort of)

President Obama may have posted his first "Tweet" today while visiting the Red Cross Disaster Operation Center in Washington D.C..  Mr. Obama was there to thank Red Cross employees for their work in providing relief to Haiti earthquake victims.

Red Cross staff were in the process of updating their official Twitter page and had just written:  "President Obama and the First Lady are here visiting our disaster operation center right now."

The President was the one who hit the "Post/Send" button.

So while the President didn't actually write the Tweet; it may be the first he's actually posted.
