President Obama to Meet with Families of those Killed in Oil Spill Disaster

On day 46 of the BP oil spill, the White House announced President Obama has invited family members of those killed during the April 20th Deepwater oil rig explosion to come to the White House Thursday, June 10th so he may offer his condolences in person.  Press Secretary Robert Gibbs made the announcement while the President was in Louisiana to meet with local and state officials about the oil spill disaster and clean up.  Please click here to read more about the President's trip to Grand Isle, Louisiana.
