President Obama spoke at a memorial service in Beckley, WV Sunday, eulogizing the 29 miners who perished earlier this month in an underground explosion at Upper Big Branch mine. He called the tragedy a "failure of oversight and of laws so riddled with loopholes that they allow unsafe conditions to continue." And he said everyone should treat each other as miners do, as family.
