Obama to Meet Thursday With Dem Leaders on Jobs

For the first time in months, President Obama has summoned Democratic leaders to the White House to discuss a topic other than health care reform.

White House officials tell Fox Obama will meet with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer and their Senate counter-parts, Majority Leader Harry Reid and Majority Whip Dick Durbin, to discuss the legislative strategy for a jobs bill.

The White House underscores that the jobs legislation is the only focus of the meeting, not the future of health care reform.

Senate Democrats will introduce their version of jobs-creation legislation Thursday.
