Obama to Meet Thursday With Dem Leaders on Jobs
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}For the first time in months, President Obama has summoned Democratic leaders to the White House to discuss a topic other than health care reform.
White House officials tell Fox Obama will meet with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer and their Senate counter-parts, Majority Leader Harry Reid and Majority Whip Dick Durbin, to discuss the legislative strategy for a jobs bill.
The White House underscores that the jobs legislation is the only focus of the meeting, not the future of health care reform.
