Fox News has learned that President Obama has cast his ballot in the Chicago mayoral race. However, what is not clear is whom he actually voted for.

While it might be considered a given that the president cast his ballot for his former chief of staff and current front-runner in the race, Rahm Emanuel, the White House has yet to say.

In recent days, Emanuel has used Mr. Obama's glowing remarks about him in his political ads, but the president has yet to do any actual campaigning for Emanuel.

Both the president and first lady completed their duties as private citizens by ordering their absentee ballots early and mailing them back, but their public support hasn't been quite as obvious.
