Obama Campaign Plane Landing Could Have Been Disastrous
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}A White House official confirms to Fox that a former National Transportation and Safety Board investigator, reviewing the emergency landing of then-candidate Obama's campaign plane last July, says the event could been "catastrophic" without the heroics of the crew.
The NTSB report says a slide that inflated may have pressed against critical control cables.
The White House official tells Fox a second report on this incident, due in about two weeks, is expected to establish probable cause for the equipment malfunction behind the slide inflating and other subsequent problems.
