Krauthammer: Cruz 'highlighted the issue' on Rubio video
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer told viewers Monday on “Special Report with Bret Baier” that Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz “highlighted the issue” by firing communications director Rick Tyler over a controversial video that falsely depicted Marco Rubio dismissing the Bible.
The video shows Rubio walking into a hotel lobby past a staffer reading the Bible, and subtitles in the video misquote Rubio as telling the staffer, "Got a good book there, not many answers in it."
Krauthammer, a Fox News contributor, said that by firing his communications director, the Texas senator and a GOP presidential candidate gave Trump and Rubio “an opportunity to pile on with those rather rough tweets.”

“I am not sure he [Cruz] has cured the problem at all,” he said.
