Jeff Goldblum wants the oil industry to not be "garbage people."

In a video posted on "Funny or Die" Thursday, the "Jurassic Park" actor, playing a character named the Fixer, tells a roomful of "oil executives" to abide by President Obama's Clean Power Plan.

Goldblum, whose friendship with "Miami Vice" actor Don Johnson is mentioned repeatedly in the video, tells the executives that his solution to their problem with the Clean Power Plan is to go along with it.

"What I'm saying is that it makes sense," Goldblum says. "The fact that you're objecting to these very simple and reasonable asks feels to me like you might be some of the worst, most execrable, selfish, reptilian, nincompoops with whom I've ever had the distinct displeasure of working."
