J.K. Rowling says Trump is worse than Voldemort

J.K. Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter books, said on Tuesday that Donald Trump is worse than her mega-villain Lord Voldemort.

After Trump called for a "total and complete shutdown" of Muslims entering the United States, Rowling tweeted a link to a BBC story comparing the GOP presidential front-runner to the evil wizard.

"How horrible. Voldemort was nowhere near as bad," she tweeted to her 6 million followers.

In the book series, Voldemort calls on his followers to kill wizards and witches who are mixed with non-magical human blood, derisively known as "mudbloods."
