First Lady Michelle Obama joined the social photo sharing website Pinterest Wednesday morning, sharing a dozen personal images online. The account is run by the Obama 2012 campaign staff, but the first lady signed several photos herself, with captions and her initials "mo".
On a photo sharing board titled "Father's Day", Mrs. Obama shares personal memories of her husband, including a rare kissing photo in which Barack Obama holds his youngest daughter Malia on his lap while his wife leans in for a kiss. Of the photo, Michelle Obama writes "We are dad's biggest fans, each and every day."
But the campaign page is also fundraising off this site. A family portrait of the Obama links to a donation page where supporters are asked to sign a Father's Day card for President Obama. "Join Michelle and sign Barack's card" it reads.

Within the first hour of going live, the first lady's pinterest page had over 100 followers, and dozens of supports have re-pinned the first lady's pictures, sharing them with even more social media users around the internet.
