LOS ANGELES (AP) – Former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa is expected to make a big announcement.
He had one this week - but not the one that's been getting talked about.
He's getting married.
The 63-year-old former mayor is widely expected to become a candidate for governor shortly.
But his online surprise this week was personal, not political.
He tweeted Thursday that he's engaged to Patricia Govea.
"I'm so happy," he wrote.
His prior marriage ended in divorce after the disclosure that he had an extramarital affair with a television reporter.
