Clinton takes heat for Wall Street, 9/11 comments

After Bernie Sanders attacked Hillary Clinton for her stance on Wall Street, the Democratic front-runner invoked the attacks in New York on Sept. 11.

"I represented New York and I represented New York on 9/11 when we were attacked. Where were we attacked? In downtown Manhattan, where Wall Street is," Clinton said. "I did spend a whole lot of time and effort helping them rebuild, that was good for New York, that was good for the economy and it was a way to rebuke the terrorists that had attacked our country."

Clinton then said reinstating the financial regulations of Glass-Steagall was "nowhere near enough."

The Republican National Committee was quick to pounce on Clinton's 9/11 comments. RNC Chairman Reince Preibus tweeted that Clinton "reached a new low tonight by using 9/11 to defend [her] campaign donations."
