A White House official says the President will travel to the Gulf region to view the oil spill and meet with officials within the next forty-eight hours.  The President has already sent top administration officials, including Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and Interior Secretary Alberto Salazar, to the Gulf to oversee efforts to contain and clean up the millions of gallons that have been flowing into Gulf of Mexico waters since the Deepwater Horizon oil rig incident over two weeks ago.
