Body of D.C. City Council Intern Believed Found in Woods

Alonte Sutton was a student at Ballou Senior High School and worked last summer in the office of Council member Michael A. Brown, who recommended him for a year-long internship this year, the newspaper reported.
Police did not confirm that Sutton's body had been found, but Brown and the teen's family told the newspaper they believed the body retrieved from the woods was his -- a terrible blow to Sutton's mother, who received word on Sunday, Mother's Day, that her son had been killed.
