Blagojevich to Pen 'Embarrassing' Book About the Dark Side of Politics
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Disgraced former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich plans to write a book "exposing the dark side of politics," according to his publicist.
Blagojevich, who was accused of trying to trade President Obama's former Senate seat for money and political favors, signed a six-figure book deal Monday, according to publicist Glenn Selig.
The impeached former governor, who was ousted from office following his arrest on federal corruption charges, denies any wrongdoing and plans to detail how he chose Obama's successor in the Senate, his publicist said.

The book, which does not yet have a title, will be published by Phoenix Books and released in October, Selig said.
