Admiral punished for drunkenness, nudity reassigned to Pentagon

A Navy admiral who was punished for wandering around a conference center drunk and naked has been reassigned to the Pentagon, according to a Navy release.

Rear Adm. David Baucom received non-judicial punishment for conduct unbecoming an officer and disorderly conduct/drunkenness, including a punitive letter permanently placed in his official record, the Navy announced on Monday.

Baucom was serving as the director of strategy, capabilities, policy and logistics at U.S. Transportation Command at the time of the incident in April while traveling to Florida on official business. He has since been removed from his job.
