Ray Hilborn is a Professor of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences at the University of Washington in Seattle. He leads several
research projects on the status of global fish stocks and coordinates the
RAM Legacy Stock Assessment Database, the largest repository of data on the abundance of fish stocks.
