In the TV business you never know which stories will gain traction and which ones won't. Sometimes the ones you think will generate the most interest don't and vice versa. Especially in the fast paced lives we live ... with barely a moment to sit back and reflect ... I was so heartened to see the overwhelming reaction to one photo ...
One photo of a single beautiful bald eagle -- our nation's symbol -- atop a military grave in St. Paul Minnesota at Fort Snelling. That one photo representing the thousands of lives sacrificed ... Not only the 130,000 veterans buried at Fort Snelling .. but all across this great nation.
One photo ... making people who see it pause and reflect .. and stop what they happen to be doing at that moment. It puts life in perspective right? It did for me today and I hope it did for you as well.
