Gretchen's Take: Public support of Iran deal dropping
Only 21 percent of Americans approve of Iran Deal
As the vote on the Iran deal looms, you and me sorta don't matter anymore. Why? Well just check out the latest Pew Research Center poll that shows public support for the deal has continued to decline.
Just 21 percent of Americans actually approve of the agreement reached between the United States, other nations and Iran.
Forty-nine percent disapprove of the deal... and maybe the scariest stat is that 30 percent have no opinion on the matter.
At the same time, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei said today on twitter that Israel will not survive the next 25 years ... adding that the Jewish State will be hounded until it is destroyed. and that the United States is still the "Great Satan." This comes at the same time the IAEA -- the International Atomic Energy Agency - put out this press release today citing "ambiguities" in Iran's cooperation with inspections.
This deal will no doubt bolster President Obama's legacy ... but there's no doubt it will continue to be questioned and that average Americans don't like it.
