Judge William Sullivan ended court early on Wednesday in the Lindsay Clancy trial, stating there was an "unforeseen circumstance."
"Due to some an unforeseen circumstance. We're going to, excuse you until tomorrow morning. This is, not something we saw coming, but you're not to speculate about what it is. You're not to hold it against either side. it's just something that we have to deal with. All right. And so I'm going to excuse you until tomorrow morning," Sullivan said
Lindsay Clancy aware of support as gatherings planned, defense attorney says
Defense attorney Kevin Reddington told Fox News as he left court that Lindsay Clancy is aware of the solidarity gatherings planned in her support Wednesday. He would not say whether he has decided if Clancy will take the stand.
Reddington said he has one witness Wednesday, and the prosecution is expected to call three rebuttal witnesses. If those wrap up Wednesday, there will be no court Thursday. Closing arguments are set for Monday.
Lindsay Clancy thinks of her children 'almost every moment,' her psychologist testifies
A psychologist who Lindsay Clancy sees told jurors on Wednesday that she thinks about her kids constantly and "misses them."
Clancy's defense attorney, Kevin Reddington, asked Dr. Paul Zeizel if Clancy ever talks about her children.
"And when you speak with her and meet with her doctor, has she ever mentioned her children? Because apparently, according to the questioning that you underwent, she never talks about her kids," Reddington said.
"She does speak about her children," Zeizel said. "She really loves them and misses them and thinks of them every single day. Almost every moment of the day."
