Busted!

A Mexican police officer who became an Internet sensation after a topless photo of her in her patrol car appeared online has quit her job and is taking part in a traveling “sensual show” of gentlemen’s clubs.

Nilda García Montoya, who worked in the northern Mexican city of Escobedo in Nuevo León, resigned to the post after being suspended while an internal investigation looked into the NSFW photo of her on Facebook.

Soon after, García Montoya announced that she was going on tour at a lap dancing club, while showing off her ample assets in a plunging blue dress and admitting that she would one day like to pose for Playboy. Maybe she heard about some famous flight attendants who posed in the magazine (see slideshows).

García Montoya, who will appear under the clever stage name Polisex, is a 24-year-old mother of two daughters. She said her family supports her change of career.

“I've just given birth to a child so I'm a bit chubby and having difficulties getting rid of my belly but I'm not famous enough to have a perfect body,” she said on Facebook. “I'm ugly and I admit it but it's better to accept it than hide behind something you're not.”

Her fans, however, don’t seem to agree with her.

“I love you. I will be in the front row when you come to my city,” one fan said.

García Montoya said that her topless photo was taken by a colleague during a dare and was on a phone that was stolen last July. A mysterious caller began harassing her a week before the photo went viral with threats that he would blackmail her if she refused to go on a date, she said.

She added that she began to cry when she first saw the photo on the Internet.

"I feel outrage at the damage that photo has caused because it mainly hurt my family including my two daughters, my husband, my parents and my siblings,” she wrote, according to the Sun. “I recognize I was at fault and beg forgiveness for this terrible situation. We’re all human and we all make mistakes.”

Nilda’s agent in her new line of work will be Mario Rodriguez, who helped launch the career of Mexican actress Lyn May, who worked as a go-go dancer before making her name working at a cabaret show in Mexico City.

Local media reported several men’s magazines and local businessmen had shown an interest in giving her a modelling contract after her topless stunt. As for how much she’ll reveal in her shows, García Montoya has been coy but advanced that she will not reveal it all when on stage.
