Americans are among dozens of terminally ill people traveling to Mexico to buy a cheap, widely available euthanasia drug called nembutal, according to a report from French news agency AFP.

Citing an article from the Mexican newspaper Reform, AFP reported that at least 200 terminally ill people from Australia, Britain, New Zealand and the United States have visited Mexico since 2001 to purchase the drug.

For its article, the newspaper used information from Exit International, a pro-euthanasia nonprofit organization from Australia that promotes Mexico as a destination for patients seeking to end their lives.
