Meet the woman behind Gwyneth Paltrow's 'sex dust'

There’s a mind-altering powder that celebrities and power players in Hollywood can’t get enough of.
It’s not cocaine, it’s Moon Dust — from ultratrendy health shop Moon Juice, which has two outposts in Los Angeles.
High priestess of purity Gwyneth Paltrow recently shared her morning smoothie recipe in a GOOP newsletter, and it includes a teaspoon of Moon Dust, which comes in six versions — sex, action, beauty, brain, goodnight and spirit. The powders, meant to be added to water, nut milks or smoothies, claim to “work synergistically at the deepest levels to heal and enhance” body and soul. All for just $55 or $65 for 2.2 ounces.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Paltrow isn’t the only It Girl using Moon Juice products — Shailene Woodley, Rooney Mara, Rachel McAdams and Zoë Kravitz are also fans.
While the powders have long been available online, Moon Juice’s full line of potions and cleanses will be delivered nationwide starting May 1. The company is currently scouting locations for a New York-based shop to open early next year, offering a “cleanse menu.”
It’s not a big leap for the company’s 33-year-old founder, Amanda Chantal Bacon, whose skin glows as brightly as that of her starlet clients.
