Man poses for first selfie after doctors build him a nose

A 23-year-old man whose parents abandoned him as a newborn because of birth defects has a new nose thanks to a clinic in China that offered to build him one for free.

Li Ming’s story was shared in June 2015 and caught the attention of a clinic in southwest China’s Sichuan Province, where his foster family lived, Mirror.co.uk reported. He underwent three procedures as doctors worked to build him a new nose.

Ming appeared in cameras last week to show off his new nose, and posed for his first selfie saying his new nose gave him confidence he hadn’t had before.
