A North Carolina man who beat cancer three times is battling it once again, MyFox8.com reported.
Fred Murrow had prostate cancer in 2006 and despite never smoking a cigarette – he survived lung cancer in 2009. In January, he survived breast cancer.
A half hour after doctors told Murrow he had survived the ordeal with breast cancer, they told him he had brain cancer.
“Sometimes you wonder, ‘Why is it me?’” Murrow said. “God’s got a plan for all of us, so just trust in him.”
Last week, Murrow underwent surgery to prepare for 12 radiation treatments.
Murrow said he believes he has survived because of his family and faith.
