Breastfeeding mom penalized for bringing child to court

Jury duty isn't most people's favorite thing, but imagine getting the summons when you're a new mom and can't leave your baby.
That's the case for one Missouri mom, and now her stand is landing her a court date of her own at a Jackson County courthouse.
Laura Trickle is fighting a charge of contempt of court -- all because she breastfeeds and can't leave her son behind to serve jury duty.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}But that didn't get her off the hook, so she appeared for jury selection, with her baby, hoping the judge would grant an exemption.
Instead he gave two options -- pump during breaks, or bring someone to watch baby Axel and breastfeed on breaks.
