A new mother in the U.K. spoke recently of her joy at giving birth to two sets of identical twins — beating odds of 70 million to one.

Sharon Turner, 36, was stunned when doctors first revealed she was carrying quadruplets.

But after giving birth she discovered they were two identical pairs.

Mini-miracles James, Joshua, Lauren and Emily were born seven weeks early on March 30. Three of them weighed just 2 pounds, 4 ounces — little more than a bag of sugar — and Lauren weighed 2 pounds, 6 ounces.

"We thought about the possibility of twins, but never more than that," Turner said. "Friends say, 'How will you cope?' But, it's not a burden; I feel blessed."

Turner's husband, Julian, who is a triplet, admitted he "can't tell them apart."
