Ingredients:
2 cup mayonnaise
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}1 cup ketchup
1 cup relish (rinsed and strained)
1 Loaf rye Pullman bread unsliced and frozen
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}2 Slices gruyere cheese
1 1/2 pound Spanish onions
1/2 cup sugar
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1 6 ounce burger
2 ounce caramelized onion
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}1 ounce Go Burger sauce
2 Toasted rye grilled cheese
1 Slice crispy double smoked bacon cut in half
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}1 Slice gruyere
Preparation:
Mix all ingredients in a bowl until completely incorporated
Sliced bread on meat slicer at #1.5. Make two thin grill cheese. Sear with butter until golden brown on each side.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Caramelize the sliced onions in a pot until chestnut brown (not burnt). When the onions are 95% caramelized, add the sugar and vinegar and reduce until syrupy.
Sear the burger to temp and when almost ready add gruyere, caramelized onion and bacon and cook until the cheese has just melted. Place on one grilled cheese and top with go burger sauce and the other grilled cheese. Cut on the bias in half and serve.
