Our Doomsday Bucket List Foods

Every wonder what $25,000 bucks tastes like? Well, at NYC's Serendipity 3, you can put your money where your mouth is — literally. The Frrrozen (yes three “R’s”) Haute Chocolate is served in a baccarat Harcourt crystal goblet, and features 14 of the most rare and imported cocoas from around the globe. It's topped with a 24 carat edible gold leaf and on the side, you'll get an 18 carat white gold diamond bracelet. Chow down in style! (Reuters)

This chicken sandwich—hold the bun— made waves when it landed on KFC's menu in 2010.  Two pieces of bacon, melted Monterey and Pepper Jack cheese, the Colonel’s special sauce — and it's all held together by two super crispy fried chicken breasts. (KFC.com)

This West Coast chain, known for its shakes, super secret menu and made-to-order mouthwatering burgers, will blow anyone’s diet plans off the plate. Gonna keel over this Apocalypse? I'd like to die happy with a Double-Double in my hand. Two beef patties, lettuce, tomato, American cheese — I’m in heaven. (Associated Press)

In honor of Hostess Brands going belly up, I wanted to invent the ultimate treat that would cause your belly to blow up. This magical recipe doesn’t necessarily exist, but feel free to stockpile America’s favorite snack foods and try it out for yourself. First, slice six Ding Dongs in half (through the middle) and place on a pizza pan.  Layer with Sno Balls and Hostess Cupcakes in the middle. Cover completely with Twinkies and — this is where it gets creative — slice and squeeze some more Twinkies to glaze the entire “cake” filling with goodness. You're welcome. (Reuters)

A high-class cheesesteak? One Philadelphia restaurant is redefining the fast food’s image, and I'll take two. The sandwich at Barclay Prime made of sliced Kobe beef, melted Taleggio cheese, foie gras, the finest truffle oil gets an A+ in our Armageddon cookbook. (Associated Press)
