Frito-Lay Wants You to Try Their New Cappucino-Flavored Potato Chips

It's seeming more and more like "potato" is an increasingly unacceptable flavor for potato chips, at least as far as the people at Lay's Potato Chips are concerned.

As part of their second annual "Do Us a Flavor" contest, the brand invited fans to submit suggestions for new flavors in the hopes that one of them will become a permanent addition to the Lay's lineup. After sorting though more than 14 million entries, Frito-Lay announced Cappucino, Wasabi Ginger, Cheddar Bacon Mac & Cheese, and Mango Salsa as the four finalists.

Consumers will be encouraged to vote for their favorite on the contest website in late July, which is also when the new flavors will begin hitting store shelves. The winner will be crowned sometime in November, and its "creator" awarded the $1 million prize.

Last year, the "Do Us a Flavor" promotion resulted in a set of equally wacky finalists, including Cheesy Garlic Bread, Chicken & Waffles and Sriracha. (Cheesy Garlic Bread walked away the winner.)

Potato chips fans can vote for their favorite of the current crop at DoUsaFlavor.com starting on July 28, but until then, we're curious to know which (if any) you're excited for.
