Most Chick-fil-A locations across the country will be offering free meals to veterans and active-duty members on Veterans Day.

But one Georgia location is honoring veterans with a “Missing Man Table.”

Customer Eric Comfort shared this photo on Facebook of the table at a location in Marietta.

(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&version=v2.3"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);}(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));

Store manager Alex Korchan told WSB-TV the table features a folded American flag, a place setting for the veteran, and a letter titled “Missing Man Table.”

The letter read:

“This table is reserved to honor our missing comrades in arms. The tablecloth is white — symbolizing the purity of their motives when answering the call of duty. The single red rose, displayed in a vase, reminds us of the life of each of the missing and their loved ones and friends of these Americans who keep the faith, awaiting answers. The vase is tied with a red ribbon, symbol of our continued determination to account for our missing. A pinch of salt symbolizes the tears endured by those missing and their families who seek answers. The Bible represents the strength gained through faith to sustain those lost from our country, founded as one nation under God. The glass is inverted — to symbolize their inability to share this evening’s toast. The chair is empty — they are missing.”

“Our team just decided we wanted to honor veterans and do a setup honoring military,” Korchan told WSBTV “We’ve had a lot of people who have come in and seen it and been touched by it.”

The Missing Man table and poster were put on display Saturday and will remain up through the week.

Customers can also write a "thank you" letter to military servicemen and women.
